TAKING BACK STALINGRAD 2 | BRICKFILM
This is a World War II Brickfilm I made. This Brickfilm is about the battle of Stalingrad. The battle of Stalingrad occurred in Russia during World War II. The battle lasted from August 23 1942 – February 2 1943.
One of your grodier brickfilms. I'd still rather see longer films with more story.
That was pretty good I liked how you made your own gun shots, but you should of had some foot step sounds or some music in it. but other than that it was good.
You have implemented some clever animation techniques; I like brick-built muzzle flares and the cotton explosions. The overall film, though, feels like it is just a scene from a longer film. It would have been cool to see a more fleshed-out story with a more intensive background on the history of this battle.
The quiet atmosphere at the beginning of the film is a nice indication of suspense, however, I feel that it is too quiet. Perhaps it would have been beneficial to include the sound of wind blowing or the sound of the sniper slightly breathing.
I really like your gun effects and use of zoom and blur. I think when anyone makes a really interesting brick film, everyone just wants more!
